News on the 2012 Comic-Con pony

What is it going to look like? Are they going to continue with the G3 style or give it a Friendship is Magic look? Will it wind up being the Fashion Style Derpy after all?

All these questions and more… have yet to be answered. But we do know this: 

BIG news, pony fans! We’re giving you the chance to design your own pony – and it could be made into a real figure that will be revealed at this year’s Comic-Con International! Check back soon to get in on the action!

Hasbro announced this on their My Little Pony Facebook page. Exciting! The 2012 Comic-Con pony is well on its way.

So Isaac got a My Little Pony train for Easter and Rarity. He is most pleased by this, and he also wants to know if Angelina (albinwonderland) will come over and play ponies now. Kind of a big thing since he’s got socializing issues.

Pony Fashion Friday: September 23, 2011

Seeing as pony retailers update their stock so frequently (I’m looking at you, WeLoveFine), I have decided to do a round-up of all of the week’s new shirts every Friday from this point on. I dub thee Pony Fashion Friday!

For the time being, I will only highlight official merchandise. If I ever find fan-made clothing that I think deserves its own news post, I will make a separate post about it.

To start off this post, some of you may be pleased to know that WeLoveFine is doing a second t-shirt design contest in celebration of season two!

The grand prize is $3,000 in cash, and this round will include some very special guest judges: Sethisto from Equestria Daily and AppleCider and Chef, co-hosts of the Bronyville podcast. You can read more about it here.
